Our Liquid Fabric Dye has been specially formulated to restore or recolour any natural fabric. Suitable for use commercially or in the home, it is easily applied by either brushing, spraying or submerging. Once dry, it will not alter the texture of the fabric, transfer onto clothes or fade. Submerging fabrics will require considerably more dye.

Our product is a solvent free, water based dye, which means it is safe for use on all household furniture, shoes, coats, cushions and more. The item does not need a sealant or finisher and is ready to use straight from the bottle.

We do not recommend using our products on synthetic/hybrid materials, or materials such as velvet, viscose, or thick chenille. Please read the label on the item you are wanting to dye before purchase, or contact us if you are unsure. Full instructions are provided with every purchase.

For best results, dampen the fabric prior to application of the fabric dye using a spray bottle. This will aid the absorption and provide a more even coverage. For stubborn fibres use the Fabric Dye in conjunction with our penetrating solution, Colour Boost. This should be mixed in a 2:1 ratio, of Dye to Colour Boost.

Clean and Prepare

Always do a patch test on an inconspicuous area first. For best results, the material must be the same colour or lighter than the dye colour you are applying. Clean the surface thoroughly with a fabric cleaner prior to application.

Colour Boost

We recommend that you dilute the Fabric Dye with our Colour Boost Penetrating Solution. Use half the amount of Colour Boost to the amount of Fabric Dye e.g: 500ml Fabric Dye to 250ml Colour Boost. This will help penetration into stubborn or protected fibres.

Apply

Fabric Dye can be applied by brush, cloth, spray or by submerging the fabric completely. Leave your fabric to dry for a minimum of 2 hours. Do not rinse them as the dye takes 3 days to cure completely.
