Our paint care guide will help you keep your vehicle’s paintwork flawless for longer.

You can easily cover scratches or spots on your vehicle by touching them up with your car’s original paint colour.

To match this paint colour exactly, look for the colour code listed on the vehicle information sticker in your car.

Alternatively, you can figure out your car’s colour code by finding the vehicle information number (VIN). This is a serial number that you can find through documentation related to your vehicle. Provide your car colour code or VIN to The Scratch Doctor to obtain an exact match for your car’s paint.

Finding the Vin Plate

• Inside your door jamb
• On the inside of your car door
• On the passenger side dashboard (visible through windscreen)
• Under the bonnet at the front of the engine (near the bonnet catch)
• In the rear wheel well, directly above the tyre
• In the Log Book
